Posted on June 8, 2022 by PIU The DILG Pasig City Field Office hosted the Department of the Interior and Local Government – National Capital Region’s (DILG-NCR) Regional Team Conference held on May 24, 2022 at Revolving Tower, Pasig City.Attended by its permanent members, the agenda focused on discussing the accomplishments as well as the important deliverables of the Department for the 2nd quarter of 2022, through the presentations of the Division Chiefs, Chief of Staff, and the Quality Management Secretariat (QMS) Head.The RTC is the platform for the Regional Management to regularly discuss updates on the implementation of various DILG-managed Programs/Projects/Activities (PPA) at the Regional and Field Offices level.Regional Director Maria Lourdes L. Agustin, CESO III, commended the efforts of all Field Offices in helping ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the recent local and national elections. RD Agustin also expressed her gratitude to all Regional and Field Office personnel, who have actively participated and contributed to the two-day conduct of the Regional QMS Stage 2 Audit for NCR. “As we await the consolidated department-wide audit results, let us continue our commitment towards the continuous implementation and improvement of our QMS in DILG NCR”.DILG Pasig Field Office City Director Visitacion C. Martinez, welcomed the participants and introduced re-elected Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma. Regis “Vico” N. Sotto, who is now on his second term as the local chief executive of the City.Pasig City Mayor Sotto thanked the DILG-NCR for its steadfast technical support and assistance to the City Government in the implementation of various DILG Programs/Projects/Activities. In a brief discussion with all the participants, Mayor Sotto remarked that he aims to continue promoting good governance and adopt the best practices of other local government units both within and outside NCR, to further enhance the overall administration of the City.ARD Atty.
