The DILG-NCR is beaming with pride as the DILG Pasig Field Office bagged the highly coveted Bugkos ng Bayan Award during the Capacity Development Awards for Catalysts of Excellence (CapDev ACE) 2024 Gabi ng Parangal, held on December 12, 2024, at the Manila Hotel, Ermita, City of Manila.

Receiving the award were DILG Pasig Field Office City Director Visitacion C. Martinez, CESO V, Cluster Head Marianne B. Anceno, LGOO V Carlo Tristan M. Canta, and LGOO III Patricia Nicole C. Mendiola.

The Bugkos ng Bayan award is conferred to an outstanding DILG team at the level of a cluster, highly urbanized city, or province, whose teamwork and team-based initiatives in building local capacities have produced meaningful results.

“We are truly humbled by this valuable recognition of our team’s committed efforts in pursuing participatory and inclusive governance in synergy with our partners and stakeholders in our common objective. We hope to inspire others in pushing for active participation,” City Director Martinez mentioned in her acceptance speech.

As one of the key pillars of the Pasig City Civil Society Organization (CSO) Academy, the DILG Pasig Field Office played a pivotal role in strengthening efforts toward advancing transparent and inclusive governance in the said locality.

This triumph is a testament to DILG-NCR’s steadfast commitment and unwavering passion to deliver first-class services to the Filipino people.
