DILG-NCR continues its shift to the new normal with the launch of its Human Resource Management System or the HRMS.
The system, launched Monday, April 19, allows DILG-NCRâs personnel to have access to their service records, leave credits, payslip, and other administrative requirements from the safety of their own homes.
DILG-NCR Regional Director Maria Lourdes Agustin noted that the HRMS reflects the readiness of DILG-NCR in adapting to the new normal.
âVirtual is indeed the new normal, which we recognize and practice in DILG-NCR. Working remotely is our new reality, and systems such as the HRMS should also be present to empower our personnel. The HRMS is one of the ways of the DILG-NCR family of being together while being apartâ, she said, noting that the system is open to improvements to accommodate the needs of the personnel.
DILG Undersecretary Marlo Iringan joined the launching. He lauded DILG-NCR for utilizing technology to ease and ensure safe transactions for its internal clients. He hopes that the system is replicated in other DILG regional offices and help employees manage their essential data.
DILG-NCR OIC Assistant Regional Director Atty. Ana Lyn Baltazar-Cortez led the launching in the regional office, while other DILG-NCR personnel witnessed the launch online.
DILG-NCR Regional Information Communication and Technology Unit Chief Lennie Yap discussed the portalâs key features and replied to the queries of the regional and field personnel.
The HRMS is one of the systems developed by DILG-NCR to ease its internal transactions. It is also part of its efforts and investments on knowledge sharing as a leading local governance resource center in NCR. #
