RPOC-NCR holds first regular meeting for 2015 peace and order measures to be implemented in Metro Manila
The Regional Peace and Order Council – National Capital Region held its first regular meeting for CY 2015 on February 20, 2015 at the 9th Floor, City Government Offices, Taguig City to discuss peace and order issues affecting the region and measures to address them. Central to the Council’s discussion was the problem on illegal drugs. Relative to this, a number of measures have been proposed by Council Members. Taguig City Mayor, Hon. Maria Laarni Cayetano particularly proposed for the creation of a Regional Anti-Drug Abuse Council (RADAC) that would operate under the supervision of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC).
