The Joint Regional Task Force–National Capital Region (JRTF-NCR) successfully convened its Fourth Quarter Calendar Year (CY) 2025 Meeting on December 12, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Quezon City, reaffirming its strong commitment to advancing peace, unity, and development in the National Capital Region through a whole-of-nation approach.

The meeting was further strengthened by the message of support from Undersecretary Ernesto C. Torres, Jr., Executive Director of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC), which was delivered by Director Jose A. Descallar, Director for Stakeholders Engagement, who provided strategic guidance and reaffirmed national-level support to the regional task force.

Key agenda items include the Overview of the NTF-ELCAC MEAL Framework System, strengthening alignment and accountability across clusters; and the Presentation of the 4th Quarter CY 2025 JRTF-NCR Accomplishments and Ways Forward for CY 2026, delivered by the MMDA and JRTF-NCR Secretariat, among others.

In closing, the JRTF-NCR called for deeper collaboration, innovative strategies, and unwavering dedication to public service. The council expressed confidence that, through collective resolve, the National Capital Region will continue to serve as a model of peace, prosperity, and resilience for all Filipinos.
