The Department of the Interior and Local Government–National Capital Region (DILG-NCR) has successfully concluded its ISO 9001:2015 External Audit at the DILG-NCR Regional Office in North Avenue Quezon City on October 24, 2025, reaffirming its strong commitment to excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement in public service delivery. 

Associate Senior Lead Auditor Liza G. Rosal served as auditor and was welcomed by Regional Director Maria Lourdes L. Agustin, CESO III, Assistant Regional Director Atty. Ana Lyn. R. Baltazar-Cortez, CESO IV, together with representatives from the regional contingent of the DILG-NCR.

The audit assessed the Department’s compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) standards, focusing on the consistency, effectiveness, and continual improvement of its systems, processes, and services. During the audit proper, representatives from both the Regional and Field Offices actively participated, demonstrating the organization’s unified approach to quality governance.

The external audit provided valuable insights and validation of DILG-NCR’s quality initiatives, highlighting areas of strength and identifying opportunities for further enhancement. It also reaffirmed the Department’s alignment with the principles of good governance and citizen-centered service.

The DILG-NCR extended its sincere appreciation to the external auditor for the valuable insights and recommendations shared throughout the engagement. These findings will serve as key inputs in refining systems, strengthening coordination, and further elevating the quality of service delivery across the region.

Through this successful ISO 9001:2015 External Audit, DILG-NCR reinforces its steadfast commitment to operational excellence, effective governance, and the continuous pursuit of quality in serving the people of Metro Manila.
