The Department of the Interior and Local Government – National Capital Region (DILG-NCR) actively participated in the two-day Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) Forms Training and Workshop organized by the Regional Development Council – National Capital Region (RDC-NCR) on October 29–30, 2025 at the Cocoon Boutique Hotel, Quezon City. As a key member of the Regional Project Monitoring Committee – National Capital Region (RPMC-NCR), DILG-NCR contributed to the discussions and hands-on exercises designed to refine and strengthen the region’s monitoring and evaluation processes.

Throughout the workshop, DILG-NCR personnel engaged in sessions tackling the revised RPMES Guidelines, the standardization of reporting tools, and proposed enhancements to inter-agency coordination. Their participation helped ensure that the perspectives of local governance and community-level implementation were well-integrated into the Committee’s technical and operational improvements.

During the event, the RPMC-NCR also recognized DILG-NCR for its notable contributions to the inspection of completed DPWH-funded infrastructure projects across Metro Manila. The Department’s involvement in these joint monitoring activities reinforces its commitment to ensuring that development initiatives meet quality standards and respond to local needs.

DILG-NCR remains steadfast in promoting transparency, accountability, and efficient service delivery. Its active engagement in initiatives such as the RPMES training supports more effective project monitoring and strengthens collaborative efforts to advance sustainable and resilient development in the National Capital Region.
