The Training on Wheels is a mobile learning initiative that provides accessible and convenient training on Advanced Computer Operations and Electrical Installation and Maintenance to residents across various barangays in the city. The project is a customized vehicle that serves as a mobile classroom equipped with computers, tools, and other essential learning resources.
The launch was led by Hon. Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, together with representatives from the Public Employment Service Division and the Department of the Interior and Local Government. Mayor Malapitan reaffirmed the City Government of Caloocan’s commitment to providing accessible employment and livelihood opportunities for residents through community-based programs.
The Training on Wheels will travel to different barangays based on community needs and requests, helping eliminate geographical barriers to education and skills development. Ultimately, beyond strengthening local skills and employment, the project will contribute to the Region’s workforce development, ensuring SGLGIF investments yield meaningful and lasting community benefits.
The Department stands firm in its commitment to SGLGIF excellence by driving results through continuously overseeing project implementation, reinforcing accountability, and promoting transparency.
