
The Quezon City Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) held its Plenary Session on September 10, 2025 at the Solaire Resort North, Quezon City. The session convened different stakeholders and leaders to deliberate on Quezon City’s priority development programs, projects, and legislative measures, all of which aim to harmonize the executive and legislative agenda in line with its comprehensive development plan.
DILG-NCR Regional Director Maria Lourdes L. Agustin, CESO III delivered an inspirational message of support to the QC-LEDAC.
“We commend the Quezon City LEDAC for its visionary leadership and pioneering programs that exemplify good governance. By promoting transparency, accountability, and active citizen participation, you have strengthened public trust and empowered communities,” Regional Director Agustin mentioned.
Joining Regional Director Agustin were DILG Quezon City Director Emmanuel D. Borromeo, CESO V, who discussed the rationale and direction setting, while DILG Navotas OIC-City Director Ana Jury H. Castillo, CESE, facilitated linking programs, projects, and activities to legislation, and the harmonization of the Executive and Legislative Agenda.
By aligning local strategies with national development goals, the Quezon City LEDAC has become a compelling example of how Local Government Units (LGUs) can embody principled leadership, united action, and sustainable development. The DILG-NCR fully supports this strategic alignment that is essential in translating development plans into tangible, measurable outcomes that improve lives.
