
In time for the celebration of Local Government Month, the DILG-NCR Las Piñas Field Office officially turned over the 2025 Capacity Development Analytics Report and Solutions Proposal to Mayor April Aguilar Nery.
This milestone was made possible through the Supervised Fieldwork (SFW) Program of the Local Government Academy for the Department’s Local Government Operations Officers ll and lll apprentices.
Under the guidance and supervision of City Director Patrick John D. Megia, CESO V, and Cluster Head Elsie H. Castillo, the LGOO lll apprentices Mary Jane J. Achas and Yasser C. Gutierrez facilitated an in-depth analysis of the city’s local governance context in accordance with the DILG Capacity Development Framework.
With the completion of the CapDev Analytics Report and Solutions Proposal, the DILG-NCR Las Piñas Field Office sincerely hopes that the City of Las Piñas will build upon and continuously improve the methodologies and analytical tools presented in the report to craft local programs and legislative measures that effectively address the city’s evolving governance challenges.
Mayor April Aguilar Nery expressed her appreciation to the DILG-NCR Las Piñas Field Office and its LGOO lll apprentices for their continued support in strengthening the City’s institutional capacity toward upholding excellence in local governance.
