12 local government units (LGUs) within the National Capital Region (NCR) have successfully passed the 2025 Child‑Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), demonstrating strong commitment to upholding children’s rights to survival, development, protection, and participation.

The CFLGA is an annual results-based assessment tool developed by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular 2024-160 to evaluate how LGUs deliver services and govern in ways that are inclusive of children’s well-being.
