DILG Manila welcomed 2017 with a newly-renovated office at the Manila Barangay Bureau.
The renovation is part of DILG-NCR’s undertakings in providing a more suitable workplace for its personnel in the field offices, to ensure operational efficiency. Makati continues its efforts in scaling-up its anti-illegal drugs initiative with an activity that aims to strengthen frontliners in drug operations.

Save the Children, in partnership with DILG-NCR, will be introducing an assessment tool for Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM) Plans.
The quality assessment tool (QAT) is a comprehensive instrument that aims to review the responsiveness of BDRRM plans to the needs of their communities. Local chief executives and representatives of government agencies in the region came together for the first regular meeting of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC).
