Moving Ahead in Knowledge Management with DILG Region IV-B

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region IV-B Regional Director James F. Fadrilan together with their Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) Program Management Team had a learning visit to the DILG National Capital Region (NCR) Office with the theme, “Moving Ahead in Knowledge Management,” which was held last January 3, 2013.

Issues and concerns discussed during the open forum are: preventive measures taken against hacking; file sharing system and Google docs; sustaining linkages and networking; mobilization of the 4 Facility Heads and 3 Outcome Managers; submission of quarterly accomplishment reports; repackaging of knowledge products; and benefits from the unique organizational structure of NCR.

Regional Director Renato L. Brion shared that the accomplishments of DILG-NCR when it comes to LGRRC is just a matter of attitude on how to overcome and transcend amidst circumstances. He also imparted that NCR needs more time with very careful and deliberate efforts to be able to push forward and accomplish a lot more for LGRRC.
