Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives and Awards (LTIA)

 This is an Annual Award Program established pursuant to Section 406(b) of the Local Government Code of 1991 and Executive Order No. 394, s. 1997. This is in recognition of the LuponTagapamayapa’s contribution in the promotion of the KatarungangPambarangay (KP) objective,   to strengthen the efficacy of the KP as an indigenous mediation structure capable of resolving disputes within a community, and beyond the formal courts of justice.  It aims to institutionalizea system of granting economic benefits and other incentives to LupongTagapamayapa for reason ofexemplaryperformance in settling disputeswithin their community. 

LTIA has three (3) major criteria, namely, Efficiency in the Operations of the LupongTagapamayapa, Effectiveness in attaining the KatarungangPambarangay Objectives, and Creativity and Resourcefulness in theadministration of KP. The Award has four (4) categories:  HighlyUrbanized City, Component City, 1st-3rd class municipality and  4th-6th class     municipality.
